Cynthia Bradford

Financial Planning Associate

Cynthia joined Briaud in 2015 after spending the previous 12 years as a vocal performance coach and piano teacher. Her continual desire to learn, grow, and help others led her to a career in Financial Planning. Today, she is so grateful to work in a field that she finds both challenges and fulfills her.

Currently, Cynthia is working to earn her CFP certification through Boston University, and she looks forward to being one of the ten CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERs™ at Briaud. She is a college graduate of Brigham Young University and holds a degree in International Relations. Following graduation, she worked at an internet startup company and later with a human resource firm that had her working with corporations throughout the world. Having lived abroad as a child while her father served in the military, Cynthia loves traveling and has lived in Wyoming, Iowa, Northern California, and Germany. She is now proud to claim Texas as her home.

In her spare time, you will find Cynthia on stage acting, dancing and singing (sometimes with her entire family!) or in the orchestra pit directing the band and playing the piano. She has a love/hate relationship with running. She has completed several half marathons and one full marathon. Her husband, Richard, teaches theatre and violin at a charter school. They are daily entertained by their four children, Harrison, Samantha, Will, and Henry. Their family loves long road trips, all things barbecue, and Sunday dinners with friends.
